Why Am I A Coach?

As many of you have seen, I have gone through a lot of changes in the last year (physically, mentally, and emotionally). I owe all of that to my journey and coaching. Every time I have started to lose my way and started giving up on my journey and coaching, I thought of the reasons why I was doing it!

1. Motivation for my journey: Running challenge groups, posting my journey for others to see, being involved with other coaching groups, and having the many coach friends that I have keeps me motivated and accountable! I rely on my postings to keep me going!

2. People are watching: I know many people are watching me through my journey, some even relying on me to keep up the fight and succeeding in my journey. I don't want to let them down! If I let them
down, I have let myself down even more! The person most important of all that is watching is my daughter! I want her to grow up in a healthy, fit home and gain wonderful habits. I want to be able to be here with her for a very long time because I am healthy and fit.

3. Helping others: This may kind of go hand in hand with the previous reason of 'people are watching'. I love helping others, especially when it means adding value to their lives and improving it! I used to want to be a psychologist while growing up and even went to college for 2 years majoring in it. I wanted to help people! That route just simply was not the route meant for me. With coaching, I can help others in such an important part of their lives!

4. Stay at home mom: I want to be a stay at home mom some day. Every day that I have to work somewhere else is a day I am away from my daughter, a day that I am missing in her life. The first few years of her life, I was working about 60-70 hours a week sometimes and missed a LOT of her
growing up, to the point where sometimes I have to ask her dad what she likes to eat or what her favorites of something are. Since coaching, I have not had to work as many hours and have gotten to spend more time with her and learn more about her! I want this to be a regular thing!

5. Financial Stability: I want to be able to pay the bills with this job without worrying and without working a second job. I want myself and Josh to be able to stay home and run our own businesses! My goal is to be able to have a home, cars, and be able to go on family vacations. Wouldn't it feel so good to be able to just pick up and go whenever you felt like it? I want that!

6. Connecting others to coaching: I have already began helping a few others become coaches and improving their lives in all the amazing ways mine has! I want to create an amazing team/family of people improving their lives and the lives of others. For every coach out there, there are an endless amount of people being helped after that!

Coaching= Financial Stability

Coaching= Financial Stability

Have you ever had a job you just absolutely HATED? How about one you LOVE? Or do you have a dream that you will have a certain amazing job? Before Beachbody, I was working at a factory, doing mundane work that I dreaded facing every single day. I hated my body and life and saw no future in the factory. This left me wondering how I was ever going to gain financial stability to be free to do what I want with my life. I yearn to travel the world, give my daughter opportunities to go to college or begin her own business or whatever she wants to succeed in, to have a home that is MINE! So many things that I want.

I was at a point in my life where I was caring baby weight I just couldn't get rid of that was made worse by depression and a dislike of myself. I tried working out and eating better but just couldn't find the motivation to get off of the couch or put down the junk food. When I became a Beachbody coach, I only did it to be a discount coach. I simply wanted the discount on my shakeology. I didn't make any money as a coach. I kept pushing forward though because being a coach was helping me become healthier, fit, happy, and confident. Coaching helps keep me motivated and holds me accountable to my fitness journey. I wanted to help others feel that way too! I then began pushing and working the coaching business, doing what I needed to. First, I sold one challenge pack! I was so excited! This gave me more drive to keep going! I had a few girls on my team and ran a couple challenge groups. That was around the time when I hit a slump in my life that I allowed to interfere with my business and my fitness journey. I was lost for a month and spiraling down in all areas of my life.
 Luckily, I had many supportive coach friends, including my own coach! They helped motivate me and pulled me back out of that horrible month. My business felt that the month that I disappeared. It hit hard, and my girls gave up on their journeys. I don't blame them because I was supposed to help them and failed. Once I realized what I had done to myself and the girls that were counting on me, I used that to fail forward. First, I was working super hard to get back on track with my own journey. I began working out, reading personal development, and doing challenge groups again. The personal development really did the trick for me, showing me new ways to approach life and love myself more. I then felt I was ready to help others again. I haven't looked back since!
 While going through this entire journey, I have realized that this is something I want to do for the rest of my life! This will give me financial stability while also allowing me to do something I LOVE! I LOVE helping others! Before this, I was driving a gas sucking 1997 van. Coaching has given me that extra bit of financial stability where I was able to get a new car! I now have a 2006 VW Passat, and it is way better on gas. I love my car! I am now also a stay at home mom and able to put full focus on the job of a lifetime. I am wanting a little part time work just to get out of the house more, but it is nice to have that stability that coaching gives. Now I am working on saving toward having a dream house, having my school loans paid off,  and going on vacations whenever I want! I want to be able to just pick up and go on a whim! I will get there one day! Wouldn't you want to?

PiYo Results: 2 Months

Two Months of #Piyo and loving my results! I could have done better, but I am proud of what I achieved! I missed some workouts and sometimes over indulged with food, especially during the town festival! I began Piyo in July and finished up for September. I am now starting up #21dayfix and I am super duper excited! The challenge groups I am in for these programs really help me stay accountable and work hard! The motivation and support I receive make all of the difference! I owe these results to workouts, shakeology, and clean eating! Thank you #Beachbody!
I did the Piyo (pilates and yoga) challenge from July to September. I was in the 1200-1399 calorie bracket, meaning I was allowed 4 servings primary veggies, 2 serv secondary veggies & grains, 2 serv fresh fruit, 4 serv lean protein, and 3 serv healthy fats. My workouts involved upper and lower defining, strength intervals, sweat and drench full body, core, and sculpting. Piyo is low impact, high intensity with no weights except your on body and no jumps (unless you want to :D ). Piyo gives hardcore results!

Piyo: A Yoga/Pilates Hybrid

Haha! Honestly one of my favorite tv shows of all time! A fellow coach mentioned yogalates and I immediately thought of The OC!
OK back to business! Have you heard of the new fitness program PiYo? It is a hybrid of Yoga and Pilates! It is a high intensity, low impact workout that will help you get a nice booty, tight abs, and lean muscles! A whole new kind of strong! Chalene Johnson (creator of Chalean Extreme, Turbo Jam, and Turbo Fire) put together moves from Pilates and Yoga to create a program that burns a high amount of calories and helps work on flexibility, cardio, and strength at the same time!

I absolutely love workouts that keep me moving, like dance workouts, but I dread anything that includes lots of jumping! I always take the modification for the jumps, to be honest.. :( boo me! BUT now I don't even have to do that! Piyo has NO jumps! So I can keep the speed without the jumps and such. It also has no weights except for your very own body, which comes completely free with you! :D The only thing you will need is a yoga mat, or even a towel if you don't have a yoga mat. I used to use a towel all the time and used one in my hotel while traveling so I didn't have to pack the yoga mat.

I am sure you are super excited now and want to know WHEN? When is this amazing program available? TODAY!! That's right, you heard me. TODAY!! Starting today, you can land a challenge pack and join my PiYo test group! This is a select group of people who are committed to seeing the entire program the whole way through and getting the best results possible. In order to win a spot you have to be willing to give it 100% commitment over the course of the program! You must be willing to invest in the fitness, the nutrition and the support. I will be right there with you doing the same routine the entire time!
Now you may ask, well what is a test group? It is a closed (private) online accountability group that will be held on Facebook where we will be each other's cheerleaders every day on our journey through the PiYo program. With this being a brand new program, you will be some of the firsts to try it out and show the results for it!

If you want to join me, message me TODAY!! Right NOW! The amazing 21 Day Fix sold out right away when it was released recently, and many people had to wait weeks to get their copy! You don't want that to happen to you do you? Get your copy of PiYo ordered today and reserve a spot for you in my test group! Email me at JacksonChristineN@yahoo.com or find me on facebook!

Journey to Success

I have been through quite a journey the last few months! I hadn't realized just how much i have changed until i was looking at all my pictures! I would have to say it really started last summer-fall. I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin, and people were constantly asking me if i was pregnant. It hurt, and i became more depressed and down about my body. I hid my body from my fiance and hated seeing myself in the mirror. Then one day while surfing fb i saw Jessica Sproul's fitness page and started talking to her. She introduced me to Beachbody (workouts and shakeology) and the world of coaching! She motivated me to begin clean eating, exercise, and all around fitness. She then invited me to coach and help others with the same journey! Just in a short few months, by body has completely changed and i have grown in my passion of helping others! I love myself again! But i am not done yet! This is a life change that i will continue to keep up on, and i have many goals in mind. I began with Brazil Butt Lift and then did Hip Hop Abs. I am going to be starting my next adventure with the 21 Day Fix soon, and i can not wait! If any of you are looking at yourself the way i saw myself before or you simply want to shed those last stubborn 10-15 lbs, or maybe you even know someone else there, shoot me a private message or comment below! Or maybe you even want to start helping others with their fitness journey like i am? Let me know, and i will help you!

3 Day Shakeology Cleanse: My Experience

I received my first shipment of shakeology on January 11,
and I was so excited I was jumping up and down! For anyone who doesn't know what shakeology is, it is the healthiest meal replacement you will find! It is a glass full of superfoods from all over the world, a daily dose of dense nutrition! In November, I tried a 4 day sample of it and fell in love! It kept me full, curbed my cravings, made me feel energetic, AND I lost 4 lbs in 4 days!! Wow! So I very much wanted to try a month worth and finally got to order mine for the new year! I saw the 3 day cleanse being brought up and was exciting to try it. The 3 day cleanse is to clean your body of all of the unwanted toxins from bad food, pop, alcohol, smoking, or whatever else! The cleanse is strict. I have posted a picture of its meal plan and such here.
 I started my cleanse on January 12. I weighed 119 lbs. I had a cup of tea and a shake with 2 cups of water and 1 scoop of greenberry shakeology and 1/2 cup of grapes for breakfast.
I had an Apple for my first snack and another shake for my second snack (made the same as the first). I w as s feeling tired, cranky, and blah all day, which is not normal for me on shakeology. I ended up eating 2 egg whites, 2 Turkey sausages, a piece  of bacon, and about a cup of potatoes for lunch. Joshua hardly gets a chance to cook now, and I chose to eat it and push my cleanse back a day. For dinner I ate a Jennie o Turkey hotdog on whole grain bread with 4 steak fries and 4 tator tots. I also drank 3 bottles of water on top of that and chose to have coffee because I had a headache. On the second day, I did way better at sticking to it. I had a shake with 2 cups of water, 1 scoop of shakeology, and a chopped up pear for breakfast. I had a medium Apple for a snack. I had another shake for lunch (2 cups water and 1 scoop of shakeology). By then I was again tired, short tempered, and I had a headache. I decided to see how I felt after dinner. I had a salad of lettuce, tomatoes, and chicken for dinner. It tasted delicious! Yet, I felt no better. This was not making sense to me because   cleanse should make you feel healthy and strong, not tired and grouchy. I talked to my coach, Jessica, about how I was feeling and what I had been doing. She said she  personally feels that way with the cleanse and doesn't like doing them. She said to listen to my body and that I may need to eat. I felt like I was giving  up, but at the same time I felt like the cleanse was doing me no good. The way I see it is that I eat pretty healthy to begin with and don't do many toxins. I feel like I do much better on my normal eating habits of fruits, veggies, protein bars, yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken, Turkey, etc and drinking water and almond milk, along with a couple cups of coffee every day. I do not smoke or drink and very rarely eat fast food, fried food, or fatty desserts. So the cleanse is not erasing a whole lot of toxins from my body in the first place. My normal routine is: protein bar for breakfast, fruit for a snack, a hardy shakeology for lunch (with fruit, yogurt, ans almond milk), rice cake for a snack, and a healthy dinner. I ended up eating a cup of fritos and cheetos because I was craving salt, and I felt a million times better. So, with that said, I ended my cleanse there. On the bonus side, I did lose a pound from the cleanse, but it just was not for me. My conclusion for the 3 day cleanse is that it is not for everyone and to listen to your body! Today my hardy shake for dinner satisfied me, gave me energy,  and was delicious! Just what shakeology should do! By all means, everyone SHOULD try shakeology!  If you choose to do the cleanse, pay attention to how you feel and make the right choice.  If you're interested in learning more about shakeology, message me! My Story: Looking Inside Myself and My Journey To Find Fitness

When I was in high school, I was 110 pounds, 5'1" and had 38DD. It gave me excruciating back pains and daily migraines. I never exercised or wore clothes that actually fit me because of how self conscious I was. When I was 16, I had plastic surgery for a reduction. It completely changed my life! For one, I got down to 104 pounds. Also, I wore clothes that showed how beautiful I felt and didn't feel uncomfortable at all! I was able to do this up until I became pregnant for my daughter when I was 22. Since then, I have been living day to day tired and not loving my body. Right before I became pregnant, I was 108 pounds
and wore a size 3-5 jeans. During my pregnancy, I got to 142 pounds (34 pounds gained). I also had a c section, which made it more difficult to get back to my original shape. I know that this may not seem like a big thing to many, but to someone who has always been small it was very sad. With my job I was so tired, working 60-70 hours a week, I couldn't get myself to try anymore. I got more down about myself and finally hit rock bottom when I found out I was 126 pounds. I cried when I looked at myself and didn't like my own fiance seeing me naked. On top of that, when my fiance and I got together we both agreed that neither of us could get fat. Shallow huh? But that is the person we fell in love with, and we both felt it'd be unfair to change so drastically later on. He told me that he understood that pregnancy changes your body and knew it'd take time. Well almost 3 years later, I still hadn't gotten it. He even admitted he felt less sexually attracted to me. It hurt, but we are totally honest with each other. Also, I felt so tired that I couldn't play with my daughter for more than a couple minutes, which is even worse! This is when I found my personal coach and was invited to a challenge group. During this group we were there for each other to support and keep ourselves accountable in a safe and discreet group. In this group, I worked out almost daily for 21 days. I could feel myself getting stronger and could tell by my clothes I was getting smaller, but I only lost a couple pounds.
Then I used Shakeology and lost 4 pounds in less than a week! In a whole month, 6 pounds may not be big to others but it was HUGE for me! Besides, its not just the pounds you lose. It was the energy I gained, new friends I found, winning lifestyle and tips I now have, and feeling better about myself most of all! After my first month, I became a coach myself because I want to help others feel as great and beautiful/handsome as I do! Since then, I work daily to build strong relationships with people and try to help them find the same happiness in the lifestyle that I did!
